Tasty BBQ! We all left fat and happy! We had the brisket, pulled pork and chicken. All the meats were smoked to perfection and moist. We had the Mac and cheese and potato salad. I thought the Mac and cheese could have more of a cheese flavor. It was creamy but was bland. The potato salad was good, it was a mustard style that was very flavorful and tangy. The beans left me wanting more! So full of flavor. The baked potato was small. The mini corn muffins were too dry formy liking. The bread pudding was the perfect finish to our meal. Great customer service!
Had the Double Brisket and it was tasty. Portions are generous and the potato salad and Cole slaw are good side dishes. Skip the mac n cheese. The ambience is homey and welcoming and the folks behind the counter are friendly. An hour has passed and I decided to amend my review. I remember when this location was a cruddy piece of real estate, formerly, the closed Cattleman's Bar. These folks have invested and taken on a lot of risk to open this restaurant and survived therestrictions placed upon us due to COVID-19. Thank you for for doing your part to beautify the Sheldon Street Business District.
A little place called Lucy Dee?s BBQ is out here in Prescott, AZ. It was delicious; the only different thing was the corn muffin was served cold but had really good honey butter.
So far, the best BBQ we found in Prescott/Valley. Come early, they will sell out of meats or their specials quickly. Spouse, who is a Mac and Cheese connoisseur, said theirs (topped with brisket) was the best had in at least the last year eating out. Meat was tasty and portions were good. I got the pulled pork and chicken plate with the green beans and mashed potatoes. 4 Sauces were available. The 3 we tried were tasty and a good variety of mustard based, sweet, and kcstyle... didn't try the hot. Will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and come here instead of Colt.
