Was Anonym at L'escalop a mag?
very good meal, very good reception, beautiful panoramic view. A stone throw from the green road passed the pai. particularly cared for with animals. an address to be retained! View all feedback.

What Beatrice Caze dislikes about L'escalop:
Too bad it was a nice little address... It's a place that's changed a lot in a while. Nothing says if the restaurant is open or closed, there is no menu displayed outside, only a slate.... Efforts must be made quickly. However, the welcome is good. View all feedback.

Went to eat with in laws on last day of holiday. They know the owner, but everyone looked like they were getting the same level of service. Menu is short but everything was excellent. Goats cheese salad and very generous charcuterie plate to start, bread excellent. Prawns, burger and confit duck for main course all very good. Of particular note are the chips which I would guess have been done in duck fat. Puddings chocolate mousse and pear tart, both good. This place would be lovely at lunch as there is a terrace at river level and a beach with sun loungers that would be a real treat. Parking outside restaurant is limited, but town square about 2 min walk away has plenty.

We ended up here for lunch having worked hard cycling a section of the voie verte which goes through Premian. My husband and I do not eat meat, so the single option of sausage for the main would not work however, the waitress/owner nipped to the kitchen and came back proposing salmon steaks result! Nice three course meal salad starter, main of sausage (or salmon in our case) and home cooked potatoes, and a selection of desserts, including ice creams and home made chocolate mousse all for 13€ a head! Like all local french establishments, this isn't a place to be in a hurry the lady running the dining room was friendly and efficient, but ran things at her pace which suited us fine! She also refilled our water bottle as we headed back on our bikes. Great little stop, and always a treat to find an old school proper local french simple eaterie.

Very warm welcome despite our arrival at 2 p.m. Very good quality ribeye and duck breast, cooked perfectly over a wood fire. Biker stop, and the owner knows his way around motorcycles .
