We have visited Les Catounes several times for morning coffee but dined there for the first time at lunchtime to-day. This is an unusual place being a shop for clothes and knick-knacks as well as a restaurant. We were in a party of 12, we arrived at the restaurant at 7pm and our first course came after 9pm, many people who arrived after us had finished their meal before our main course arrived, We asked for some bread after being there for an hour without food and received 6 small rolls between 12, The main course was a choice of fish or lamb and most of our party chose lamb only to be told at 10pm there was no lamb left.... A ghost service "Our experience in this restaurant was so disappointing that we finally gave up eating it. As soon as we arrived, the service seemed to be invisible, with a staff who seemed more busy to ignore customers than to welcome them. After waiting for eternity without any server coming to our table, we decided not to waste more time in this establishment. The total lack of attention to customers convinced us that this place did not deserve our patronage. So we did not have the opportunity to taste the kitchen, because the ghost service was right for our patience.
