What Candice Lord doesn't like about Buckhorn Grill Pub:
This place is beyond awful! 1st a guy that seemed to work there (he was seating ppl and handing out menus) but he was seated at the bar sucking down beers and telling everyone how to eat their food. #2 the burger that I ordered was not cooked and when i got another one there was no seasoning on it at all. After shopping at Cabela's, we decided to check out this bar and grill. Although we weren't staying at the connected hotel, we wanted to unwind and enjoy a cocktail. The atmosphere was wonderful. Next time, we might consider staying at the hotel. Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
This place is absolutely terrible! First, there was a guy who appeared to work there—he was seating customers and distributing menus—but he spent most of his time at the bar downing beers and giving unsolicited advice on how to eat. Second, the burger I ordered was undercooked, and when I requested a replacement, it was entirely unseasoned. It was, without a doubt, the worst burger I've ever had. The cheese curds were also tough and lacked flavor. Lastly, I had to wait an eternity for my bill so I could leave. The only positive aspect was that the drinks were quite strong!
The place seems pleasant. I had a drink there before heading out to meet some friends. I would rate the service a 3 and the atmosphere a 4.
We were the only ones in the restaurant, yet it took about 10 minutes before anyone came to speak with us. After that, we waited an additional 30 minutes for our food to arrive, which turned out to be just bar food that seemed to have been reheated. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 2.
As for parking, you can park a semi-truck on the street and then just walk over. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
