Normal evening just walked in to sit down. Waited for our waiter but just stood there staring at us. Never once came over to check on us.We wait 15 minutes then walked out. We called in our complaint said he would comp out meal and said he thought we had a go to order. Well if you just walk over and talk to us you would have know for what we want. Great atmosphere. The food is excellent, whether it is a hamburger or a pizza. They are a bit short staffed, but the owners do their best to provide great service. And the price of everything is very reasonable. It is always a great experience dining there. Snuggle up to the wood stove on a cold, snowy winter's evening.
We had great pizza and many beers after a long day of hunting this weekend. Staff and other guest very friendly and welcoming! We will be back!

We ordered coconut shrimp and Pepperoni pizza and both was delicious. Their were only two people working the floor and they rocked it especially how busy they were. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone passing through the John Day area. Food options are limited in this area and was highly shocked how good their food was. Will come back again when I am in the area!!
Fantastic home made food. I had the ribs even though I'd intended to have pizza. Wasn't disappointed. Very meaty and cooked to perfection. Side of home made beans and real mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, great beers on tap. Wonderful interior, a real old west saloon. Great service
