The food is always inspired, the... read more This place is amazing and the food is unexpected: with a name like "The Smith" you wouldn't expect an Asian fusion restaurant! The food is always inspired, the location is great and the drinks are impeccable. However they are currently under renovation and will be returning soon (they have completely gutted their interior and it seems like they will have a brand new concept when they open). Looking forward to their re-opening.

So I did just that with another couple of friends and was placed on a waiting list from 7.20pm.... I was told there would be an hours wait. We were finally seated at 9.45pm when we completely lost our cool waiting patiently only to be met with very average meals which were pint sized and a massive bill. I do recommend its new bar. Great ambience great space to socialise in small and large numbers.

The place is still very no... read more This is our first visit since the reno, and we were excited to see the changes. The venue looks great and the staff are very helpful. The place is still very noisy which makes it hard to hear people talking to you. The good is good but not amazing (Lucy Liu is still my favourite). The soft shell crab bun was excellent, the ceviche was very good and the lamb shoulder very good, the other dishes were average. I think they are experiencing some teething problems, that will improve. Definitely worth a try.

The drinks were pretty much continuous which is good as that's what you want from a bottomless. The Aperol's were good too. The food wasn't...nice, I had the avocado toast, and another veggie was disappointed by the noodles, but we wasn't there for the food. The band was a bit cheesy, roaming round like something from the 90s in Tenerife. The venue was also very cold the roof was closed due to the rain but the fans were on and it was freezing.
