I booked the smith for the floorless brunch for my birthday and was not disappointed! excellent value for money they are very fast with the drinks and the cocktails were delicious! the personal was friendly at any contact point of the staff I spoke before the event on the phone when I organized the security at the door. we thought our waitress zoe was fantastic and service was fast! great atmosphere!
$60 bottomless and the drinks were flowing! We had a 2hr sitting 45 of us roughly over several tables. The drinks were pretty much continuous which is good as that's what you want from a bottomless. The Aperol's were good too. The food wasn't...nice, I had the avocado toast, and another veggie was disappointed by the noodles, but we wasn't there for the food. The band was a bit cheesy, roaming round like something from the 90s in Tenerife. The venue was also very cold the roof was closed due to the rain but the fans were on and it was freezing.
Great atmosphere, o.k service but unfortunately our chicken parmas were stone cold, the cheese wasn’t even melted and the chips were average! We won’t be back Gave it 2 stars because of the atmosphere.
Stylish venue, but noisy. They sat us at a table for 6 on high chairs. Hard to get on and hard to get off (particularly since we're all around a spritely 70 years of age). Roof was open so it was breezy and cold. Interesting...way of ordering (through QR code) but I suppose it's the way of the future. They state (often) that they bring a meal when it's ready, rather than together so that people at the table eat at the same time. I presume it's to clear the deck and keep things hot. Didn't like it. The menu is somewhat limited around fried seafood of a few kinds and chips and a bit of salad. There are also some meat options. I ordered the cauliflower side as an entree. It was huge (seemed like a half cauliflower), not hot and not particularly tasty it wasn't bad, just not special or memorable it was like my mom used to cook and she was a lousy cook. It came at the same time as my mains which was a traditional chicken parma also not hot. It too was huge. The chicken was very thick and not particularly tasty. I ended up leaving half the cauliflower and half the parma. I ate a few salty chips and none of the salad. For anyone who is a light eater, one course should be ample. The other diners I was with had a mix of meat and fish dishes. They appeared to finish them without complaint. Some of them shared entrees. Service was OK as the servers were helpful and friendly (thanks Miki) but there weren't a lot of them. It was brought to my attention that they often have bottomless offerings but we found that out after we ordered maybe next time. None of us had desert. Drinks were ok and relatively inexpensive good value. Prices were reasonable. All up it cost $50 per head.
A gorgeous venue with fantastic service, I work in the industry and visit many venues but was thoroughly delighted that my family and I chose to spend our Christmas meal at The Smith. SO much food that they packed it up for us to take...home, we still had the pleasure of dining on Christmas leftovers for the following two days.
