The old building has been decorated with an eclectic mix of paintings and works of art.But what attracted me was the appealing aroma of recently brewed chai leaf that seemed to pervade the whole place. I ordered an extra hot skinny (fat-reduced) flat white and was rewarded with a first class coffee. I glanced at the Menu and decided that next time I would indulge in a chorizo and eggs mains for breakfast/brunch/lunch or afternoon tea. Al fresco dining is available on the iron lace decorated verandah where one can observe the comings and goings of the local citizenry and visiting tourists who may have discovered this delightful café.I found the staff helpful, conversational and anxious to please.I will definitely return for my chorizo and eggs breakfast. For people exiting Prahran market, simply cross the road and walk straight up Izett Street for a different experience.

We were staying in Prahran and the cafe was just a short, pleasant walk from the train station. The service was excellent - the man who assisted us was very friendly. We enjoyed a Monday brunch and drinks outside, and the salmon with beetroot eggs was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place!

Our coffee was se... read more My husband and I had brunch at Isit cafe this morning. We were warmly greeted by the staff, who quickly made room for our daughter's stroller. Our coffee was served promptly despite the busy crowd. I ordered the pork belly and my husband got the Isit eel, both dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. It was a delightful experience overall and we will definitely return when we are in the area again.
