Bourdasso Cucina Italiana

La cuisine traditionnelle italienne est proposée avec des ingrédients maison de grande qualité, cependant les prix sont un peu élevés pour une sélection de plats réduite. Les menus sont également limités en choix et la carte des vins est comparable à celle d'un restaurant 3 étoiles.

Unfortunately the weather was not good, does often happen early July! It was cold but once we stepped into the nicely decorated restaurant all feelings of cold disappeared. The welcome was exceptional. There is a limited choice on the menu, which may be ofputting to some but the food is exceptional, the presentation artistic and the taste superb. I did cause quite a disturbed reaction of the owner when I asked for an aperitif of limoncello and prosseco, I hope he tried it because it is delicious, I had been introduced to this in a recent tour of the Italian lakes and the Dolomites. The bill, not cheap but well worth the experience.

Another fabulous meal at Bourdasso. Food that oozes elegant simplicity in lovely surroundings and charming service.

This is a gem of a restaurant tucked away near a small village. The "buffalo" dishes scared me as I was thinking of American bison. I was glad I tried it though. It was delicious and really from an African cow. The staff were all VERY friendly and spoke Italian, French, and English. The house wine was excellent and all five of us enjoyed our different meals. You must seek out this great place.

The quality of restaurants in France is usually indicated by the number of locals dining out of the high season. Using this criteria, then Bourdasso is excellent and this certainly was our impression on our one visit. The restaurant also imports wines from Italy and the one we had was excellent.
