Mumsa Beach Resort

Good view, nice and clean beach, good food, esp Tomkha Gai. The light by the beach at night is fantastic. The room with garden is bigger and newer.

Amazing little hotel on the beach. Beachfront rooms have a wonderful sunrise view. Owner is really nice and helpful. As of writing 2020/12 there was curiously a 6' shortboard at the hotel and a 1-3' windswell in front of the hotel so surfing was an option... but there's no wax for the board so it will be slippery. Food and drink here are also very good.

Food wise: The food is really good. I had a lovely carbonaraish and great bruchettas. Owner is very friendly. Accommodation is OK quite basic and needs a little tlc. Once the busy season comes back I'm sure upgrades will be happening. Anyway I recommend this place even if you just come by for the food.

Absolutely great food!! What we had was fresh and carefully cooked. No taste of sugar or added sweetness in the Tom Kha. Chicken with cashew nuts with a good amount of fresh vegetables. The bruschetta tasted lovely with balsamic vinegar. All well balanced. Wonderful sea view. Great spot.

Great location! First coastline! Wonderful cuisine! And most importantly for me, the best service!
