Sentido's - Pozuelo de Alarcón

I'll be at 15:20 and find out they've occupied my table. The subway tells me that I have arrived soon, that they have us standing for more than 20 minutes without giving explanation, except that it was cold on the terrace. the food has dropped of quality. He was a normal client with my husband, we'll remove him from the list. an embarrassment that the menu charged us more than €17 per cup of white wine and also a complete detail that we were charged part of the coffee and tea, after how bad it took. I and my friends won't come back.

The atmosphere is modern and open with plenty of windows. The bar area was rather noisy, which spilled over to the adjacent dining area. The service was spectacular. Unfortunately the food fell short for flavor and texture. Presentation was wonderful! We started with gyoza and croquettes and they were the star of the night. The octopus was chewy, and flavorless with a heavy chargrill taste with some lemon burst every now and then. The tortilla was cooked nicely but lacked seasoning. The sirloin tacos were also cooked nicely but simply tasted like a grill. The steak tartare had flavor but it didn’t seem fresh, it was gray in color not pink/red. The use of sweet potato purée was overdone since it was on 4 of the 6 dishes we had. Overall this was a letdown.

I’ve been to many restaurants in and around Madrid and have found many great little places that I will revisit many times. This restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service was outstanding. That said the food was not all that great which really ruined the overall experience. I will pass in the future.
