What steveeats1234 doesn't like about Wok Experience:
I waited over an hour for the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The prawn balls were simply cold prawns covered in too much dough with no crispy batter, leaving a congealed texture in my mouth. The chicken chow mein was flavorless and cold, and the prawn crackers tasted overwhelmingly of oil. I would recommend driving to Abergavenny to Sing Lee instead, where the food is quicker, better, and cheaper. View all feedback. What Herbie-Green likes about Wok Experience:
We had ear marked this as a takeaway night but pizza was our first choice dashed at the first hurdle by f c shop not doing pizzas anymore! Gourmet Wok Experience to the rescue. The flavours were pretty good, Singapore Chow Mein had just the right amount of kick, Chicken Cashews was nice but a little bit wet, crispy seaweed great, egg fried rice good, and Crispy Duck Pancakes really good. read moreGourmet Wok Experience has emerged as a mixed bag of culinary offerings. While some patrons have lauded the deliciousness of dishes like satay chicken, sweet and sour pork, and standout hot and sour soup, others have lamented cold, flavorless meals and frustratingly long wait times. The inconsistency in food quality and service, coupled with issues reaching the restaurant by phone, has left some customers dissatisfied. However, for a few, the sizable portions and flavorful dishes have made it a worthy dining option during their stay. While experiences vary widely, Gourmet Wok Experience remains a notable option in the area.
