What soulfly69 doesn't like about The Shoe Makers Arms:
Nice friendly pub in a lovely location. Drinks were good prices but Sunday roast was just OK. Served on cold plates and everything could have been hotter. Food was tasty but quality was more like popping to a friends house for a roast, and not going out for a family pub roast costing £15.00 a plate! Would not eat there again, but lovely friendly pub for an evening drink with the locals. View all feedback.

Here many paintings, always had a massive greeting, eating is fantastic, fresh and a lot of it. this small pub is located in one of the most beautiful parts of wales, people around are mainly farmers and, like the opposite, are some of the most friendly people they will ever meet. make it a point to visit you go back, promised. Good luck. I hope you're all good up there in gotte's little one in the morning. xxx
This pub yesterday with our dog visited. absolutely fantastic. eating was breathtaking. I had a cod and chips with a heap and a weed sauce. my man had Hunters chicken with chips. nicest cod I ever had. they even gave us 2 freshly cooked sausages for our dog and we had a huge crumble water to fill their bowl again. wonderful country pub:
Fantastic little pub, we know perry from a club in lydney and it was the 4 hours round trip for eating and worth a beer. he's lost in the watney hall, but now you're gonna win your fools. will definitely be visited again.
