visit family near and wanted to treat them with a Sunday roast. Eat and service were great. only one improvement would be for more than just a bratkartoffel on the plate. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Old Yew Tree:
not very welcoming, eating was average and served another table mistaken, another customer had begun to eat it before it was brought to our table, no offer to change for fresh serve until we asked. value for money was not very good, service was terrible,...we will not be back! View all feedback.

The inner of the pub is pretty, but has not much atmosphere. the toilets are immaculately clean, which is quite unusual.
I live in brecon and my friends from swansea arranged to eat on Friday juni in the oldyew tree inn too. I went there to meet her when I was told by workers that the place was closed. I had to wait for my friends and then we all went to the white house where we had a nice meal. the point is that this was booked more than a week ago, and a name and phone number was delivered. why no one has the courtesy to call and leave a message that fixes the closure. we will never meet again. I hope someone contacts my friend with a statement.
