What BrianViv doesn't like about Seven Stars Inn:
Sadly our stay started badly as after arriving shortly after 5 pm the property was all locked up with no one at home. On phoning the answerphone us gave no indication of what to do next . A man sitting in the car park said someone might or might not turn up at 6 pm. We drove around the area until the place opened and eventually booked in to be told the Pub was now run by some kind of village cooperative . The room wa... View all feedback.
When 4 of us visited the seven stars for Sunday dinner. this is a first for us, even if we are a short walk away. had to leave a review because it was nice! very decent price and I would highly recommend. tipped off...with amazing homemade desserts.
We were visiting the area and booked a table for dinner on Saturday evening. The pub was busy with friendly locals and the atmosphere was so welcoming and happy. We learned that this pub was purchased by the village back in 2018 and the spirit...of the village shone through like the Seven Stars. Eulogy aside: the staff were friendly, very efficient, helpful, and below 25! The beer choices were excellent (recommend Butty Bach), and the food was, well...excellent All cooked to order, fresh and local. I had a Chicken and Leek Pie and the pie was a proper one.. not the pre-cooked, goo in a bowl with pastry top. This was a full pie and obviously handmade on the premises. Superb. If you are looking for a REAL pub in the true sense of the word, this is not to be missed.
Lovely atmosphere and great well-priced food. Cosy, welcoming, clearly the heart of the community. Can't wait to plan a future stay.
We visited the Seven Stars as a group in November and had an excellent meal in friendly hospitable surroundings. The barmaid was first class behind the bar and also as a waitress. Very impressed indeed and hope to return in the very near future.Thank you very...much indeed.
Visited this pub for a Sunday lunch! We will certainly be back. Great selection of drinks which is always a plus. I had the pork, it really was delicious meat so tender and the Yorkshire pudding was 10 out of 10. I had the...chocolate steamed pudding for dessert and wasn't disappointed. Friendly and attentive staff.. what more could you ask for
