Additionally, when I requested the menu, I was told that... read more We had hoped to have dinner at the hotel, but were informed that it was not served on Thursday evening. Additionally, when I requested the menu, I was told that cooked breakfasts were not available on Friday morning. The room was cozy and warm, but I had difficulty turning on the shower and the light over the sink was not working. The lighting in both the bathroom and bedroom was quite dim.

I have to say the mushroom risotto was as good as any I’ve had in an Italian restaurant, well done to the kitchen. I really enjoyed it. Hope to revisit soon

Despite some initial concerns from reading reviews, we were pleasantly surprised with our bright and clean room. The dinner was delicious and the breakfast was freshly cooked and very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was extremely picturesque. Although the old building could use some maintenance, the staff work hard to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay.

We couldn't help but notice the beautiful mountain view and cool weather, which reminded us of a ski resort. The locals dining there also indicated that it was a popular spot among the community.

It was very local to where we were staying so we called in one afterno... read more We were staying locally and had seen this restaurant on tripadvisor so decided to try it. It was very local to where we were staying so we called in one afternoon and booked a table for that evening. When we arrived we were shown into a very nice dining room which was empty and remained empty except for the two of us during the evening which was a pity as it was a big room and therefore had no atmosphere. The food however was excellent and the portions catered for good appetites. The staff were very kind and welcoming and although we were the only two in the restaurant they were very attentive. When we went to pay we could see that there were people eating in the bar and in retrospect, had we known, it perhaps would have been a more relaxed atmosphere there however we were there for the food and the food had been excellent. If we were to go back we would ask to be served in the bar if there was no-one else in the restaurant.
