Hampton Chinese Buffet Resturant - Feedback

Was inazumarina at Hampton Chinese Buffet Resturant a mag?
Stayed next door so had to visit. The buffet was done via menu (I assume unless it’s busy enough to have it out), which is always better anyway imo. Definitely much more western style Chinese food, never had a starter platter with chips and onion ring! But the chips were great so no complaints. Food was pretty decent, not the best Chinese buffet food I’ve ever had, but still good. Wasn’t very heavily salted/seasoned... View all feedback.

I was extremely disappointed after seeing the sign advertising a buffet with over 60 dishes. However, there was no buffet available and we had to order off a menu instead. The starter platter was simply cheap and consisted mainly of fried chips. The main dishes were equally unimpressive, lacking flavor and tasting mainly of grease. Overall, it was not worth it and I would recommend going somewhere else.

Food was pretty decent, not the best Chinese buffet food I’ve ever had, but still good. Wasn’t very heavily salted/seasoned but I’m probably used to very salty/MSG heavy Chinese food. Kung po pork and black bean beef was great. Loved the garlic mushrooms. Banana fritter was amazing. Great value imo.
First visit to Hampton buffet the food was gorgeous, we will definitely be back when we visit llandrindod.
The starter was dry and had what seemed like leftover chips battered and fried. The mains were marginally better but still was dry. After leaving i felt rather ill. Won't be going back there again. And definitely wouldn't recommend eating in. On the bright side the service was good and the staff were friendly.
Despite mixed reviews about the restaurant's previous buffet offerings, it seems that it no longer exists in that format due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, the new restaurant now offers excellent made-to-order dishes. Some customers found the starters and mains to be dry and lacking flavor, while others enjoyed the variety of Western-style Chinese food options. The Kung Po king prawns and hot and sour soup received positive feedback. Despite the buffet being closed, the food was still praised for being delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, with customers recommending the restaurant for those looking for tasty Chinese food.
