Interesting combo of ice cream shop and coffee shop plus turkish delight and baklava. Several varieties of each and hot tea, as well. Very flavorful ice cream! My husband and I preferred it to the more popular Messina. We also tried the Hakiki slice, basically a baklava ice cream sandwich. So good! View all feedback.
What Rinoa C doesn't like about Hakiki Turkish Ice Cream Baklava:
Went there for the first time to taste their ice cream. Great display and cozy place to hang out. Didn't realised that I was overcharged for items that I didn't ordered. Be careful and check what you are charged. I won't go there again. View all feedback.
Great Turkish coffee with a complementary pice of Turkish delight which was delicious. Baklava was very nice too. The staff are friendly and helpful, cafe has a relaxed atmosphere.
I absolutely loved the authenticity of this restaurant, hearing the story, history, geography, and recipes behind the dishes. There were so many unique and crazy flavors to choose from. I had always just walked past this place out of curiosity, but now I will never just walk past it again!
If you have never had Turkish ice cream this cafe is your perfect introduction. The selection of flavours is great as is the service. The only drawback is that being in the Newtown foodie strip the cafe is very busy and seating is at a premium. You can also grab a fantastic coffee.
Visited Hakiki At global Village opposite of UAE pavillion, I have to say I was amazed at the Taste and quality of the baklava. It tasted so good and not too sweet ,it was freshly made , also tried their kunafa with cheese which again was so delicious and so filling. You have to try their mastica and hazelnut coffee which was so damn good. I highly recommend you all to try this sweet delicacy spot. They also have borek that you can try.
