We had a lovely meal here, made to feel really welcome. Both the duck and the steak were really tasty. We thought the sides could be a bit more interesting but the chips were crispy and did the job! Overall very happy with this hearty meal and lovely atmosphere. View all feedback.
What appleParry doesn't like about Dragons Head Inn:
We enjoyed a delightful meal at this charming rural tavern. However, it would be appreciated if we were able to decide for ourselves whether to leave a tip for the waitress, rather than having our bill rounded up to the nearest ten. View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing food, fresh, large portions and great price. staff were so friendly. It feels so homely and cosy inside also. If you are near by, it's a must!
Really lovely traditional welsh pub. We hadn’t booked but we managed to get a table early. It seems like a proper locals pub, but we were welcomed in like we’d been there 100 times before. Quite a basic/traditional menu but still plenty to choose from and when the food came out it was lovely. If we’re ever back in Llangenny we will definitely come back!
My family of 5 plus dog booked and visited this pub a week ago, and had a great time. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. The menu (15 mins till last food order) was fully available and highly varied. Five different meals ordered, all arrived together, and no complaints from anyone. Such a lovely pub. I wish I lived nearer and could support it further. Will definitely visit again.
A tasty Sunday roast, served up in a friendly, traditional, countryside pub. The place was rammed, so reservations are clearly sensible, but our meals were served up quickly and with a smile. There was a choice of chicken or pork on the menu, but by the time we ordered, around 1:30, only chicken was left. Get here early!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was great. Well worth a visit. Dog friendly. Lovely walks nearby
