Stopped here on the way home from a wonderful holiday in Wales. The Welsh rarebit was delicious and the Bara Brith was superb we only wish we’d bought one to bring home! Lovely surroundings and a beautiful market town to wander around after eating here highly recommend a stop here! View all feedback.
What Y3379TEdavidr doesn't like about Cobblers Tea Rooms:
Stopped off for a tea and then came back for a light lunch. Opted for the Leek Potato soup which was lovely followed by a slice of Honey Ginger baked cheesecake. All washed down with a good sized pot of Earl Grey. Everything here is homemade (including the Italian style gelato. Definitely be returning... probably tomorrow. Sorry there aren't any pictures...too busy eating View all feedback.
Visited with a group of friends for afternoon tea. Excellent value for money. Helen was so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely visit again.
This is a real gem of a cafe. We had afternoon tea with all dietary requirements catered for. Cakes really yummy. A lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely return if in the area again.
An absolute gem in Llanidloes. Helen is so lovely. On our first visit we were looking for some eggfree lunch options. As there were limited options on the current menu, Helen very kindly suggested a vegetarian/vegan cafe around the corner. She did tempt us with the Welsh rarebit and we returned the next day for tea and a snack. It was lovely to hear more about the history of the tea shop and about the owners themselves. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The kids were fascinated by the wonders hidden in the washroom! So much care and attention in every detail. Cannot be missed if you are visiting Llanidloes
Needed a place to stop between Anglesey and Bristol and this came up on Trip Advisor. Glad to say we weren’t sorry. Opted for a cheese scone with mustard and paprika (zingy but lovely) and we asked for ours to be warmed so it would melt the butter. As there were so many other choices we had to have the lemon curd roulade too! Weird thing to comment but the toilets were lovely. Fresh, clean and environmentally friendly. Added bonus! Will make the pit stop again..
Cozy little tea shop with a variety of scones, cakes, desserts and small savoury plates. Had a lovely lunch with my sister and would be happy to go back. Only 8 patrons max currently allowed so booking is definitely recommended.
