Third Base Pint House - Powell

The pierogis were fabulous and the sauce was excellent. However, the Wagyu beef tacos were disappointing. The beef lacked seasoning, was very dry, and had minimal toppings. It was one of the worst tacos I've ever had.

I didn't enjoy the spicy cheese. I thought it was supposed to be served only if you ordered it "third base way."

My dining experience at this restaurant was awful. The burger was inedible - it tasted bad, smelled bad, and was undercooked. The brisket my daughter ordered turned out to be a fake patty, not authentic brisket. The loaded potatoes and chicken wings we had as appetizers were also disappointing. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the server, she simply acknowledged it without offering to make things right. The service was slow, and our server never checked in on us. Despite the terrible food and service, I still left a generous tip. Overall, it was a disappointing and expensive meal.

My family and I visited New Lock Restaurant and we absolutely loved everything we tried. The buffalo chicken rangoons were fantastic! We wanted to try something new and we were very satisfied with the food. Our waitress was also amazing.

Dining at this restaurant is one of the best in the Powell area. The food is well-prepared and comforting, the decor is modern and inviting, and the service is excellent. My only complaint is that the dining room feels a bit dirty and doesn't match the quality of the food. The dirty ashtrays, peeling paint, and faded colors detract from an otherwise extraordinary culinary experience. I would give it 5 stars for the food, but only 3 stars for the overall environment.
