TC's Pub in Powell River impresses with generous portions and tasty pub fare, including a standout fresh battered rockfish and crispy chicken wings. However, the restaurant suffers from slow service due to being short-staffed, impacting the overall experience. Guests have noted long wait times for drinks and food, placing extra pressure on the dedicated servers. Operating hours also drew criticism, with limited availability on weekends. Despite these challenges, diners raved about the flavorful dishes and the attentive staff. Was Anonym at Tc's Pub a mag?
I was not expecting the food to be so good! I started with a **** Caesar which was very good. It came with pickled asparagus spears which were excellent. Then fish and chips with a side caesar. The fries were average but the fish was excellent, the tartar sauce was perfect, the tiny portion of coleslaw was delicious and actually the perfect amount, and the salad was very tasty and perfectly dressed. Everything tasted... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Tc's Pub:
what a terrible mother's day I didn't have here. not only was the server ignorant and incapable; an hour and a half not yet eating no refilling of coffee or water and I had to get my own cream. they never need a good personal review. View all feedback.

The restaurant is not open until 4pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays, which is very disappointing. Considering it is the most well-known hotel in Powell River, I had higher expectations for their operating hours. I guess I'll have to find somewhere else to spend my money.

I had lunch at TCs pub in Powell River. I usually get a quesadilla and a side salad when I go out. Today I wanted something hot but not fries. The onion rings were so good.I'm not really a salsa person , but the fire roasted salsa was to live for. I requested to buy a small thing of it to take home with me. It will be a sad moment when it's gone.

Steer clear away from this place if you have any food allergies. We came to visit Powell River for the first time for our hockey tournament during Remembrance Day weekend. We stated the food allergies and requested a burger, no bun, no sauce, plain patty lettuce wrap, and he still had a reaction within minutes, tingling in his throat, hives. Obviously cross contamination occurred. We never had a problem in previous tournaments eating out. It was an unfortunate incident but what made it worse was the manager's reaction to it. Not only did she not take responsibility for it saying it's not the kitchen's fault, I guess it was my son's fault then. She still made me pay 20 dollars for a measly burger patty. I have no problem when an establishment tells me no guarantees, I look elsewhere but to accept the food order and then put the blame on the kid, wow, left me speechless. The waitress on the other hand, was very kind and apologetic and I'll remember her great service.

The server moved our table of 5 to a less desirable location behind a larger table, as they were in a rush. We had to wait for over 20 minutes before finally getting the server's attention, and it took over 1.5 hours to receive our soup and nachos. Another server had to take over due to the incompetence of the previous one. Our food arrived right as we were about to leave, and our order was incorrect. We had to quickly eat it and requested a discount, only receiving a small 20% off. This restaurant is not recommended as they do not seem to care about their customers.

This is a traditional pub with an older age demographic of 45+. They have multiple TV's, pool tables, and dart boards. The best part is that they serve local Townsite Brewery beer on tap. Now let's see how the food measures up.
