We decided to stop h... read more Visit the area during your stay in a holiday accommodation on Lake Malone. Our kids really wanted fish since they started fishing all week. We decided to stop here for lunch to fulfill their desire. Because two of us are medically fragile, we haven't eaten in a restaurant for six months. To be honest, we were nervous to expose our risk children. However, our concerns were immediately taught when entering the restaurant. The tables they use were separated by tables that are clearly marked to not sit, distance each in the building large distances from each other. The salt and pepper and other spices are located in individual containers and/or are cleaned before being delivered to the table. The food was delicious and a good amount for the price. The fish was so hot that one of us burned our mouth (a different plus for the safe stay during the COVID). The only complaint would be a lack of malt vinegar, but to be honest, I'm the only one in our family who would ask. Thanks for a great first meal in many months.

I was pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. This place is one of the best-kept secrets north of Springfield! The catfish is fantastic, even better than the well-known Bill's Catfish from Ashland City. What really sets this place apart and makes their Wels exceptional are the side dishes! The beans are the best I've ever tasted! The coleslaw is excellent, and the hushpuppies are no exception. My wife even mentioned that this place could give The Walk a run for its money when she made her own tartar sauce! No matter what, this restaurant does not disappoint!
