I get the sal... read more My favorite restaurant in Poway. The soup is a favorite of course, but I also really like the salads and chicken breast plate with rice and beans. I get the salad with quinoa minus the cranberries with chipotle dressing instead of the raspberry. Don Pollo does not hold back with the salads either, unlike some restaurants (i.e. Victor’s) that will give you trace amount of veggies in a box full of lettuce. My salad was full of fresh veggies and meat. The salsa verde is also killer… just enough spice and a great flavor. The only thing that I have tried that I didn’t like were the chips. They were definitely different/weird and not my type lol, but I don’t come here to eat chips anyway, so no big deal. Thanks for being awesome!
