Since the ownership changed, the quality has really declined. I ordered a jumbo cheeseburger and regret not taking a picture of it (or the other food I've received). The meat was incredibly thin and had holes in it like Swiss cheese. The top part of the bun had a chunk missing, leaving three-quarters of the cheese and toppings exposed, which ended up spilling everywhere.
I usually don't write reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience. I was very disappointed with my meal last night. I ordered the HB steak dinner, an oyster dinner, and a side of chicken strips, which totaled $35. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. Just the other day, I went to Golden Corral and spent only $18, so I felt that $35 at Robos was unreasonably high for such poor quality food.
I have family in Kentucky, and ever since I was a little girl, my dad would always stop at Robos on our trips to visit them. I now live about two hours away, and at 52 years old, I still love stopping at Robos. The food is fantastic!
Omg all I can say is best chilli I have ever tasted just stopped there on the way back from visiting family in ky (we live in tn) and I have to say we will never drive the 5 hour trip again without stopping at robos !!!!!! And their onion petals were great 2!!!!!
