What astronomer at large likes about Tamarind:
We chose this because we had a couple of nights in the Hyatt Place hotel which is only 5 mins walk away, and all other restaurants were more difficult to reach. But the Tamarind turned out to be excellent and we had dinner here two nights in a row. Their menu is very extensive, with Indian, Chinese, and other far-eastern items. Friendly staff, service was a touch slow even though the restaurant was mostly empty, Coconut lime daiquiri wasn't great, garlic Naan was good, butter Naan was okay, cheesy truffle bread was very good, roti not great, and lamb biryani was just okay.Good to have more Indian in the area, but nothing special here.
