Th... read more I've been wanting to write this for a while. I absolutely love this place! It has a laid-back atmosphere, unlike many coffee shops that can feel pretentious. The baristas are always eager to offer samples of their new roasts and beans. I frequently purchase bags of coffee here, and they consistently update me on what's being roasted each week. I highly recommend the Ugandan dark roast and the light roast from Oaxaca! They truly know their coffee!

I loved the cortado (as shown in the picture) – it was beautifully presented in a rocks glass and had a delicious taste with no harsh or acidic aftertaste; it was smooth from start to finish. The food could use some enhancements (as I visited during the restaurant's early days), but my rating primarily reflects the exceptional coffee craftsmanship that brought me in. The ambiance is enhanced by soft background music and cheerful conversations filling the café. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Poughkeepsie! The barista is exceptionally friendly, and the service is quick. Plus, it’s situated in a trendy, historic building.
