The food was... read more I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Italian restaurant in the heart of Poughkeepsie for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. The food was incredibly tasty, and the service was exceptionally friendly. I tried the Penne Alla Vodka with chicken, and it was fantastic! I can't wait to come back to this restaurant.

The calamari and Caprese salad were both delicious appetizers with generous portions. The lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs stood out as exceptional main dishes. Although the decor might seem a bit old-fashioned, it only serves to emphasize the extraordinary quality of the food.

Back in the 1960s and 70s there were the many family run Italian restaurants, each with their special family recipes. Today very few of those exist. Milanese is thereal deal and their ragu takes me back to the very best of what Italian food can and should be. I ordered the veal parmigiana.Every bite was extraordinary! Our son just started at CIA so we'll be back from time to time. I will make sure to have dinnerhere every visit!
