Korpot - Poughkeepsie
Korpot
Description
This Poughkeepsie spot delivers authentic Korean cuisine with eye-catching presentation and bold, balanced flavors. A picture menu with descriptions makes ordering easy; standout items include spicy fried chicken and a memorable pumpkin soup. Desserts and hot drinks are recommended, and friendly, attentive staff create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Quality is consistently high and compares to NYC Koreatown, though service can slow at peak times and there was an isolated food-safety concern. Overall, a must-visit for lovers of spicy, well-crafted Korean food.

This restaurant was amazing! We didn't know what to expect when we traveled through the Poughkeepsie area, but this place is on par with any restaurant in New York City's Koreatown. We loved both the food and the service. And don't forget to try one of the hot drinks—they're a must!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We were in the area and had a craving for Korean cuisine. We were truly impressed by the quality and taste of everything. Thank you so much!
First time getting food here. Brought home a Dak Gang Jueng sandwich just to find out that I had swallowed raw and inedible chicken. First and last time eating here.
It is really great that Poughkeepsie has a decent option for Korean food. The menu is of decent breadth, and overall the food is pretty consistent from visit to visit. I try to eat here with some regularity and you should too. Occasionally the wait staff seem a little overwhelmed when it is busy, but otherwise the service is pretty good, and the wait time for food is ok.
