Description

**Dining at Danny's: A Mixed Experience**

Danny's offers a casual dining experience with a varied menu, featuring classic Puerto Rican and Dominican dishes. While some patrons praise its generous portions and reasonable prices, others express disappointment in the food’s freshness and flavor. Complaints range from bland offerings to inconsistently prepared items, leading to some reluctance in returning. However, the friendly staff, particularly the welcoming young lady, has often been highlighted positively. Despite its charm as a local eatery, the restaurant faces competition from better-reviewed establishments, leaving diners contemplating their next culinary destination for Latin cuisine. Overall, Danny's stands as a modest choice for quick, affordable bites.

When Danny's first opened, the food was really fresh and taste really good. Lately, the Plantains look like they've been there for days and taste aweful. The young lady, has always been friendly and serves you with a smile.I think the older guys who sometimes serves, is the owner. Yet, he's not very friendly and never speaks first, nor offer service with a smile.I'll give them one more try, but if things contine this way we'll have to find another Latin Restaurant to go to on our nights out... or cook it myself.

Stopped in here for lunch yesterday. Pretty interesting spot. Hole in the wall place with not a lot of seating. I went because I saw the sign with the lunch special. The food was very basic but very good. I just got rice beans and pork and it was a lot of food and very tasty. Would suggest going back if youre looking for a quick cheap meal

To be honest, for those who aren't familiar with the flavors of these dishes, it might seem fine. However, everything is quite bland. The pork was dry, and the bean sauce tasted like dishwater. It's important to take pride in what you cook. Danny's in Newburgh sets a high standard, while this place doesn't even come close.
