The Betel Delicate Thai - Pottsville

We are locals who used to enjoy dining at this restaurant, but unfortunately, tonight's experience was terrible. A bin infested with flies was left out in front of our table, causing us to be bombarded with flies while eating. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they blamed the salon next door and claimed they couldn't move the bin. I took it upon myself to move the bin while eating my meal, as the young girls working there didn't seem to care about the situation. Having a full bin next to our table was a serious hygiene issue. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but the service and hygiene at this restaurant were appalling. The people seated behind us also complained, but as the staff seemed too busy to address the issue, I doubt they will take this feedback seriously. Sadly, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The restaurant was very mediocre. The pad Thai had a very artificial tasting sauce and when I mentioned it to the girl at the end when paying, she showed no concern. Out of the 9 of us, only the curries were worth ordering. The stir-fried and fried rice dishes were bland and unappealing. We will not be returning. Sorry.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and received a duck salad with chili jam and seafood. However, when I got home, I realized they had given me a bark salad and sweet and sour shrimp instead. While the order name was correct, the actual items were not what I ordered. The food was below average in quality.

Our local Thai restaurant is run by native Thai individuals who are truly passionate about their cuisine. The food is top-notch, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The service and atmosphere also receive a perfect score of 5.

I have no complaints about this restaurant! The crispy pork was absolutely amazing. The service was great and we had a wonderful dine-in experience. We went for dinner and the price per person was around $20-40.
