I made a G... read more Today, 8/7/22, my husband and I took a ride to Pottstown to buy at the mall. Before we started shopping, we wanted to take a bite to eat in the area. I made a Google search after the next breakfast place and this place came to... about 5 minutes away. When we went to the house, I had no great feeling based on how people looked at us, and his very SMALL dining area. We found a table and ordered coffee when our coffee came to the table... my husband cup had on him Make America Great Again (see photo) . From all cups to choose for the only 2 black people in place, it seemed strange to me. Why do we take care of your political views? A public restaurant is there to cook food for paying customers... that all they should care...not politics! When I ordered my food, I asked for 2 eggs, bacon and rye toast (this is how people order breakfast in Philly). The waitress laughed and said we don't have a pig bacon, we have Hatfield WTH she was confused? I told her that Hatfield bacon is pork... as always in Philly offer the restaurants Turkey products, so I was just clear. The food was not the best... had no taste... my husband french toast was soggy and barely cooked. How do you screw French toast? The pig baby was the only good thing... I mean Hatfield bacon... And they only take cash. It's 2022. Needless to say...we will never return and I hope others will read this comment and not go here.

The service was very good and the food came out quickly. There was not any parking in the parking lot so I had to park across the street

I have lived in Pottstown my whole life and this was my first visit to Coventry Cafe. The staff, food and prices are amazing. Our waitress was so nice and very attentive. The food came out quick, hot and delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you! ??

As a truck driver, I 've been to many mom&pop restaurants and man was I not disappointed. Staff was friendly, food was good, and prices were extremely fair. I would stop hereagain.

Reminds me... read more Small typical American cafe with home made food that is very inexpensive and nicely served but they only take cash. But it's worth the inconvenience. Reminds me of homemade cooking I was raised on. Love the place and will start eating there weekly nowthat I found it.
