Marcelle - Potts Point
Marcelle
Description
Located in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it spot, this tiny and unassuming cafe in Potts Point is a popular choice during the Saturday morning market peak hour. With limited seats available, patrons will need to be quick to grab their coffee and gourmet sandwich. While the views of the fountain are pleasant, some reviews mention that the coffee is substandard for the area and service can be slow. However, others praise the good coffee, friendly staff, and nice environment. The food, especially the Avo smash and double choc brownie, is said to be great value for money. Despite mixed opinions, this cafe is worth a visit for those looking for a quick bite in the area.
Feedback
Coffee was good, the staff was nice and the environment was good. the queen was overwhelmed by the chorizo, but nothing else in it had a taste. then I ended up with an ice cream and it seemed no sugar at all in it, I don't add a sugar to hot coffee, but clearly ice creamy coffee needs it and this was just so bitter. very disappointing, given the strong competition in this area.
