Crane bar is a pretty cool looking spot close to Kings Cross station. They do $1 dumplings on Wednesday. They also hold a dumpling competition which I was lucky enough to see one of my mates break the record. I'd probably only come on Wednesdays for that deal - the dumplings are OK but nothing special. Otherwise the staff are friendly and there's a chilled out vibe. eatventures.net
Went in for the dumpling challenge on $1 dumpling night. Unfortunately too busy eating to get photos. Dumplings were average - prawn schumai probably least favorite. Service was friendly though.
