You should be hungry if you come to this restaurant! The portions are huge and the food is fantastic. They even have a table where a group can cook their own meals, I think that should be booked in advance. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, despite this the low season they were very busy at weekends. You also have a wide selection of beer and wine.

Wir haben in Haselbrunn 3x übernachtet und haben das Haus schon am vorbei fahren entdeckt. Der Dachboden vom Kuhstall (erfuhren wir erst später) wurde wie ein Blockhaus gebaut. Mein erster Endruck war zwiespältig. Oft sieht etwas von außen ganz toll aus und das Essen ist ernüchternd.Hier passt aber alles. Außen passt zu innen und beides passt zum Essen.Wir waren hier zweimal, das erste Mal nach dem Essen und das zweite Mal zum Essen. Leider waren wir hier nicht jeden Abend. Das Essen ist frisch, regional, lecker und dazu noch günstig. Hier wird Wild gekocht oder auch direkt am Tisch. Zum Abschluss gibt trink man einen Schnaps. Auch hier lässt man sich nicht lumpen. Probieren Sie mal den Schlehenschnaps oder den Hochmoorgeist. Bei meinen nächsten Ausflug nach Pottenstein gehe ich ganz sicher wieder in die Forsterstube. Das ist so sicher wie das Amen in der Kirche.
