What Marga Baier doesn't like about Brauerei Gasthof Mager:
This restaurant is a rarity in the sense that they offer their own beer (I'd recommend the "Helles" and not so much the all too light in taste "Dunkles"). The dishes are quite normal Franconian ones, so nothing new there. We had the "Haxe", which was excellent, and "Spanferkelrolle" which was overcooked and dry. We returned to Pottenstein for a cave tour on a rainy day. We went in to this Gasthof for a late noon meal. The place was very crowded with locals. Food was very good with generous serving portion for a reasonable price. My putensnitzel was excellent. You'll enjoy eating here. View all feedback.
