Minsu - Potsdam

Where do I start? The website was SO deceptive as it showed beautiful photos of fresh sushi when the reality was quite the opposite. The sushi was tasteless and dry and had been left out for hours. The buffet was the same -old and tired. And on the way out the staff tried to ask more money than the bill came to. Never again! What a nightmare!!!!

Cruised the buffet before we committed but the buffet had seen better times. Maybe the weekend is fresher as the place was not too busy on a Wednesday. We decided to order sushi. A little expensive but ok for Potsdam. It was presented nicely. They added seaweed salad to our plate at no cost. The fish was too cold. The rice was room temp but we both agreed that the fish was quite cold. For 4 tables on a Wednesday, it took quite a while to be served. We did not order appetizers or drinks but it was a while. We wanted to order a desert, and my German husband asked for the menu but she brought the check instead. We paid and left without really getting what we wanted. I would not go there again or recommend, sorry.

Pleasant ambience, nice staff, fast service, good food, moderate prices. There's nothing to complain about.

Extensive buffet, all very tasty and very cost-effective overall. Can be recommended.
