During the summer, diners can enjoy their meal on the porch while admiring the spectacular castle built into the rock. Despite catering to tourists, the restaurant has managed to maintain a traditional atmosphere with informal and pleasant service. The menu features numerous dishes from Slovenian tradition, offering options for both meat and fish lovers. Some dishes on the menu pay homage to the famous castle, such as the Erasmus skewers, which include fillets of three different types of meat grilled with vegetables and served with fries. Desserts like the Erasmus love cracks are served with berries and cream. Dishes with cheese and bacon are also worth trying. The presentation of the dishes is meticulous. If you're visiting the castle for lunch, a stop at this restaurant is highly recommended before continuing your journey through Slovenian valleys.
