What PaulDuxbury likes about The Slug And Lettuce Southsea:
This is almost the perfect venue for vegans to eat with non-vegans. The vegan menu is excellent, except for the pick of vegan desserts (other than ice cream). Staff are lovely. The smorgasbord is a-ma-zing and the B12 burger very good. So yes, go and you'll go again I'm sure. View all feedback. What Poodlegirl doesn't like about The Slug And Lettuce Southsea:
We ordered the lunch salad and Rita pizza, salad came without hummus (one of two main ingredients)which had to be requested but was very tasty. The pizza was nice and thin and the plant cheese was a lovely texture. Soya or almond milk for the hot drinks was a plus View all feedback.

read moreThe Southsea Village offers a diverse vegan menu, delicious plant-based dishes that go beyond the usual stereotypes. The atmosphere is lively, with games available like shuffleboard and electric darts. While the food took longer than expected to come out, the quality was excellent. The pizza selection is particularly well-regarded, with the option to choose from a variety of toppings. The friendly staff and welcoming environment make it a great spot for hanging out with friends. Overall, Southsea Village offers a unique dining experience and is highly recommended for both vegans and non-vegans alike.
There is ample seating and standing room available as needed. The staff did an excellent job handling a busy Saturday evening.
Really good food , good atmosphere at busy periods . Excellent beers , pity about £2-50 for half pint of coke
I'd say slightly on the expensive side compared to Delaneys
Slow bar service even with multiple bartenders. Fast food, chips portion size small. Atmosphere picked up in the evening
