Popped in for a pint before eating next door. Service was good and the place is nice. The beer is well kept but my IPA tasted a bit like mouthwash to me. I am sure this was just my personal taste as I enjoy most middle-of-the-road ales. View all feedback.
We visited to rehearse the ales here, we were recommended years ago. it was just as good this time, several ales on hahn and pump. no bureaucrats pub!

Amazing decor. Definite convivial atmosphere. Deliciously kept ales on keg and cask at a great price.
Large small pub with super kept beer. very happy that they porter on cask. it is a popular place, so they can stand well in the evening, but it is worth it. the entire sham blanket is covered with pump clips so that they can spend a little time searching for their favorites
A pub I've visited for many years and one of my favorite watering holes. a prise whole heart in the hole is one of the good things of life
