The Cottage Cafe - Portsmouth

This charming diner offers all the classic dishes one would expect, but with a little extra flair. The name seems to be a nod to the beautiful wooden beams lining the walls, a quintessentially English touch that pairs well with the sky blue decor. However, the name only scratches the surface, as this cafe actually serves a fusion of Thai and British breakfast cuisine. The breakfast I ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection, although the fried eggs were a bit too well-done for my liking. The cafe recently received a 5-star hygiene rating from the food standards agency, a testament to their commitment to quality and cleanliness. Whether you're in the mood for a traditional fry up or feeling adventurous with some green curry, Cottage Cafe has something for everyone. Those who prefer a more traditional breakfast will still find satisfaction here.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and made fresh. Terry and his team work exceptionally well together. I might come back for breakfast tomorrow xx.

I recently visited The Cottage Cafe, which has just started serving freshly cooked Thai food until 8:30pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I was impressed by the friendly service from the staff and the delicious food. I will definitely be returning soon.
