Real China - Portsmouth

I had a great time at the buffet on Saturday night. There were only 4 staff members working, but the 20-minute wait was definitely worth it. The food was even better than I had expected.

A few years ago, my partner and I dined at this restaurant twice to enjoy a hot pot buffet while living in Essex.

Downhill! Once upon a time we would meet with friends here for the all you can eat menu and spend a good chunk of money on drinks! Now they have taken it away and halfed the portions we paid almost £200 for a meal for 4 people. Chicken was dry noodles where sloshy mussles uncooked and shells closed prawns still black in the bowl. Stay away

Cold plates very salty food very small portions and over price never again use this place its terrible grrr

Hidden over this jewel of an place when they look for something last minute and glad that we did! ignore them reviews of years back, obviously different owners as quite expensive and fabulous food. we booked last minute and were not disappointed. looks small and simple from outside, but...wow eating is amazing. authentic dishes, good choice and fair price. we ordered a mix of dressed and were impressed by everyone. good portioning and friendly staff. platz was full and with many Chinese people eating in it, prove that they have to do a good job! beautiful staff that even called us a taxi. visit us again
