Kfc - Portsmouth

Generally happy until I got home and realised they forgot to include my regular fries in my original recipe chicken meal. Oh well... I guess

The food is consistently average at best. While the management could be better, it's not the worst KFC out there. The restaurant is quite large, so it can get busy and tables may not always be cleared promptly. The location on Commercial Road is starting to appear a bit rundown.

I visited this restaurant and was disappointed to find that it did not meet the usual standard one would expect. The place was busy and the staff were handling it well, but the food did not live up to expectations. The chicken was greasy, almost undercooked, and the portions were small. The bucket we ordered was not up to par in my opinion. The chips were also subpar, resembling cold straw rather than the usual quality I have experienced there before. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant, and may avoid other KFC locations in the future.

We stayed at the Port Solent East Premier Inn and decided to have dinner at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was well-prepared. We ordered the bargain bucket with sweetcorn which was delicious and not greasy at all. We also ordered 2 colas and were pleasantly surprised to discover that a 1.5 litre chilled bottle was only 99p and came with cups. This money-saving tip from KFC was appreciated and showed good customer service. We will definitely be returning in the future.

My family like it, I done not, the coating has an unfortunate effect on me. That is in any KFC
