The District - Portsmouth

My wife and I had a great experience for our anniversary dinner. We rarely have date nights, so this was a treat for us. We arrived during happy hour and enjoyed $1.25 select oysters, with my wife particularly enjoying the local oysters from Great Bay. We also had delicious cocktails - I got the Bitter Mistakes, a mezcal and campari fusion, while my wife ordered the Berries and Bubbles. We couldn't resist ordering more food, including fish tacos, a grilled squid ramen noodle salad with a nice kick, and a tasty charcuterie board with sopresseta. Overall, it was a pretty damn good meal.

The food was fantastic and our server, Tim, was outstanding! His service really enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return next time I'm in Portsmouth.

The dishes at this restaurant are inventive and creatively crafted, always delicious and satisfying. Despite not being a vegetarian, I tried the beet gnocchi and found it to be incredible. It was well-balanced with the perfect amount of butter, salt, and beet flavor that I adore. The oyster happy hour is consistently amazing, and I appreciate the hard work of all the wonderful staff members who consistently provide exceptional hospitality every time we visit.

We had an incredible dinner for my mom’s birthday. If you go hit the $1 oysters from 5-6, then try these things: Dirty vodka martini Rabbit cassoulet Roasted Brussels sprouts (mind blowing) Korean BBQ Peanut butter brownie batter Ask for Luna as your waitress, she’ll make your life amazing

We had a selection of the oysters that were on special for happy hour. They were fabulous. Their mignonette sauce is awesome and I'm not even a fan of mignonette sauce. We had the roasted brussel sprouts which were yummy yum. We also have the gnocchi which were super tasty. The staff was friendly and nice and service was prompt but not pushy. Oh, and the cocktails were fabulous as well. We can't wait to go back and try something else from their menu.
