Contribute FeedbackDespite a generally positive reputation, Redraw in Portsmouth may have recently had a rough patch based on customer feedback. While some praised the great fish and chips and pleasant service, others experienced undercooked shrimp, off-tasting turkey, and slow service during a family gathering. The atmosphere was noted to be beautiful, and the beer selection excellent, but some felt that the service could be improved, especially in clearing dishes between courses. On the upside, those who had positive experiences raved about the delicious food, attentive service, and special atmosphere that made celebrations like birthdays memorable. Overall, with mixed reviews, it seems that Redraw in Portsmouth might be hit or miss depending on the day and experience.
A really beautiful place with great food is her artichoke dimmer divine. we were here several times this last time when the service was not great, there seemed many confusion everywhere.
This is a very popular spot! Glad they have OpenTable for sure. I requested a low top table and they tried to sit us at a high top in the bar area, but had a low top in the vault. The bar area is VERY noisy. The vault (and probably the loft area too? are more manageable from a noise point of view. The wait staff were very attentive but they need more of them, the visits were infrequent. The food was good, but not excellent. We went before a concert. Portsmouth is happening for sure!
The restaurant is lively and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I rated the food good overall. My main dish was excellent, but the appetizer and the dessert were not. The wait staff is good, but we didn 't see him much. The bar tenders are attentive and the drinks we ordered were made perfectly. Overall, I had a good experience and I will definitely dine there again.
The fish and chips is great and probably one of the best ever had. Important to note it’s made w haddock not cod. However can’t share that excitement about a salad w shrimps. That was really not worth eating. The shrimp had no taste and only served w 4-5 of those short of able to make a dinner lasting. I was even concerned these were safe to eat but all good. Service fair because we felt a bit rushed. The place had empty tables however the check came to us after having a second bite ... yeah we don’t want coffee or dessert. Not impressed. Many other options to choose
Took family for dinner after a day at the water park. Food was delicious and the place has a cool atmosphere. Looks like it was a bank about 100 years ago with awesome glass dome ceiling. Beer selection is excellent. No problem finding something for semi-picky kids to eat and plenty of options for mom dad.
