The bartenders were friendly, but there was confusion about happy hour pricing. Despite some hiccups, the pizza was highly recommended by a first-time patron. For dog lovers, the outdoor seating was a hit, with attentive service and delicious food offerings. The selection of beer was lauded, and the prime rib was highlighted as a standout dish. With a diverse menu offering tasty options like beer-battered fish and smash burgers, this restaurant left guests eagerly anticipating their next visit. Despite a few minor issues, the general consensus was that Portsmouth Gas Light Co. provided a fun atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service, with a unique and enjoyable dining experience overall.
First timer at this restaurant. I’m from NY/NJ so the bar is set high for my preference with pizza. I was beyond pleased and thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. We ordered the Gas Light pie. We weren’t able to finish it, but it tasted just as good later when it was cold. Right when the pizza hit your mouth you tasted the flavor and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend this establishment and will be back!
Cool place to be. Weather you like a quiet meal, amazing pizza, some live music on the deck, or dancing to the dj, this place has it all. The cordon bleu pizza will blow your mind. Enjoy.
Best place to sit outside and enjoy lunch or dinner! Felt like we were at someone’s back yard party! Love this place 5 star plus. Food and drinks are good too!
Great place. Looks expensive from the outside, very reasonable. The food was incredibly fresh.
Order. The. Pizza. I've been to the Portsmouth Gas Light Co. several times over the past 15 years but for some unknown reason I have never ordered the pizza until yesterday. For anyone going for the first time: Order. The. Pizza!
