Thirsty Moose Tap House Portsmouth

I make the 2.5 hour drive every week just to dine at Thirsty Moose. It's a spacious restaurant with a patio and street seating. They have two large bars and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite games.

We were searching for a good place to have lunch and beer when we stumbled upon this restaurant in the center of Portsmouth. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a stylish design featuring exposed bricks and mirrors, and the staff was energetic, courteous, and efficient. I ordered a Rocky Burger with fries, which turned out to be one of the best tasting burgers I've had in a long time. The burger was seasoned perfectly with a house dry rub, and it came with delicious onion rings, crispy bacon, cheese, and a sweet BBQ sauce on a brioche bun. The fries were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich and she said it was fantastic. Our beers were also great, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
