Very friendly and attentive staff the food was prepared very well. Particularly the fried chicken, fried flounder, fried whiting, sweet potato casserole, Mac and cheese and potato salad. Green beans and collards were a little over cooked for my liking and more sweet than your typical southern vegetable. The only point of criticism would be the wait time for food to come. What Brian Gaines doesn't like about Gardner Willz Cafe:
The music is much too loud and they would not turn it down. They automatically change a 20% tip and the service definitely did not live up to that high of a tip. Some of the food was cold and the syrup container leaked. The food was as only average and I will not come back. Unsatisfied customer ??? View all feedback.
Today my family dined at this restaurant after Church service. I must say that we absolutely loved this restaurant. The servers were very friendly and eager to help you in any way possible and answer any and every question you may have. Although we dined after the breakfast hours, because we had small children and were very close to the time, they still accommodated us and allowed us to get the pancakes for the children, which was awesome when dealing with picky eaters that are 2,3, and 8 years old. The adults ordered the crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries, the wings with baked beans and potato salad, and the shrimp and grits. Let me tell you, delicious, delicious, delicious!!!!! This food was hot and fresh and you could tell the home cooking and love that went into the preparation . After eating, we also ordered some of the bakery items, which we are currently eating as we ride home. The cupcakes and carrot cake are absolutely delicious. This was our first visit to this establishment but it will certainly not be our last. An excellent restaurant and I would definitely recommend you dine here. You won’t be disappointed!!!Kid-friendliness: This restaurant had high chairs and booster seats for the children. They also had a kid menu with their food choices as well as coloring and other activities on the page to keep them busy, like tic tax toe.
First time dine-in for my Aunt's birthday party. Our whole party was easily accommodated. The food was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Everyone enjoyed themselves at this great location.
I had the Shrimp Grits Saturday. Very delicious. Big portion. Going back today to try their Brunch menu.

Green beans and collards were a little over cooked for my liking and more sweet than your typical southern vegetable. The only point of criticism would be the wait time for food to come. They mentioned it varied and were very attentive during the period where the food was being prepared. Don’t come too hungry!Kid friendliness: They provide kids with a nice kid’s menu to include a cross word puzzle and tic tac toe boards. Served with crayons!
