Cure - Portsmouth

Loved our first visit to Cure and will definitely be back!! Started with fried green tomatoes and the best corn chowder! Entrees were great as well as our server, Brian! Great space and friendly staff! Excellent cocktail menu!

We are long time patrons of the Cure. the ambiance, food and cocktail quality and presentation is always outstanding. It is a romantic go to place for a great night out. The majority of the staff were wonderful. That stated, our assigned waitress was overbearing, attempting to rush us to order food and drinks, and lacked the social graces other staff members have demonstrated in previous encounters over a number of years. No one is perfect and I hopeful this individual will get additional mentoring as I anticipate she is relatively new. Her pushy demeanor detracted from the event as she persisted after told several times we were there to enjoy a sentinel occasion and wanted to space out the courses as opposed to being rushed to eat. Will we dine there again, yes because of the long-term positive experiences we have enjoyed. However. should we encounter the same behavior with the same waitperson, we will bring the matter to the attention of the owner/chef.

The Korean BBQ beef was excellent. Lobster bisque soup delicious but half of the lobster meat was tough and stringy. Somewhat noisy. Recommend a visit when not busy. Overall experience very pleasant.

Whenever I have friends from out of town, or I want to share a special meal with a good friend, I head to Cure. I think it is the best restaurant in the Seacoast area. The food pairings, the cocktail menu, and the specials are fun, unique, and so damn flavorful. Try the duck breast; it is outstanding.

It's outstanding! Located in the beautiful, quaint, seacoast of NH (Portsmouth). Food is superb. It's small but has a good vibe. The ppl are great. You pay a bit more but as they say, “you get what you pay for.” Highly recommend!
