Amazing chipper. Amazing staff Decor is fabulous. First time I went I didn't have cash and they didn't take card (They do now) But he said it's okay I can pay next time I come back. So nice. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pipers Takeaway:
Paid 650 burger and drink. Burger really good but surprisingly not a chip thrown in. Thought they were the Real Chipper. Obviously not. Money has priority. Disappointing. View all feedback.
Went to Piper's for the first times last week. Came recommended by a friend. Walk locally but this time I am having a bag of chips on way home. Was about 7.30pm. 2 chips, waited almost 25 minutes. OK seemed busy. Got home and opened the chips. The poorest chips I have had in years. 50% of contents at least were the small crunchy bits. I asked for chips not crisps. Much ended up in the compost bin. Sorry Piper's, won't be back and no recommendations.
In August 2021, we paid 6 euros for a generous portion of fresh cod cooked to order. The meal was worth the wait, and we also enjoyed a proper bag of chips. We visited on a Monday at 5 o'clock when it wasn't very busy. The restaurant has great decor, especially for those who appreciate Native American themes. As of April 2022, the cost of the fish has increased by 1 euro.
A regular of mine and the staff could not be nicer. I recommend any of the cods and taco chips, and the burgers are top picks. When it's busy, strap yourself in for a long wait, but know it's only because everybody in the area knows how great this family run business is. I recommend everybody try it at least once and if you find yourself visiting mark it as a must visit
