A very busy place, packed with tables. We tried to go there once for lunch and twice for dinner without reservation and were lucky only once with the last table. at inside, very hot. I tend to believe most of the staff is family members...and very friendly. Food is great, and comes in large quantities. Better share a starter (or desert). Not quite cheap, nor very expensive. What Céline Begue doesn't like about Sous la Tonnelle:
The food was ok and the location is good but the service is horrible. We waited for min to get the bill and only learned that you could not pay by card in the moment of paying. Certainly do not recommend. View all feedback.
Doughnuts with brocciu and mint, from calf to olives and ceps with a gratin corn polenta. A very gourmet coffee. It's sublime and the service is perfect. The boss works with her daughter, like her mother before her. the kind of rare restaurant you know you'll be back soon. ambient, music, decoration, cleanliness, food, very high-level service.
Very kind reception of mme loubet and our waitress, we went twice in the last four weeks. and everything is good, see very good, unique in Porto-Vecchio! and open all year long authentic cooked Corsica dishes that smell the good terroir and especially the love of well-made cuisine, with real corsed juices. a beautiful wine card at reasonable prices. better than most of the restaurants that precede in the classification, we must get used to ... going forward with the eyes closed.
The meal was very good and the products are of quality and region! In particular the hazelnut chicken was excellent!!! However, the server that received us should do a communication course (on our map a dish was not present and the server never mentioned it, and we never had the wine card).
Super restaurant a very nice address in Porto vecchio! Very nice house, waitress at the top, the kitchen is excellent the nicely presented dishes, the super frame, the dishes are generous! Bravo to the team. I recomande
